Senior Civil Litigation Attorney - 4 days remote!

Description A reputable law firm is seeking a seasoned Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will effectively manage cases from start to finish, encompassing all aspects of litigation. Your role will involve developing litigation strategies, handling motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing client relationships.Responsibilities:

Oversee all parts of civil litigation, including initial assessment, drafting pleadings, discovery, preparing pretrial documents, conducting trials, and executing appeals if required.

Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters ranging from personal injuries to commercial disputes.

Advise clients regarding ongoing litigation or potential legal issues.

Develop effective litigation strategies considering the unique circumstances of each case.

Actively participate in case investigations and fact gathering, as well as take and defend depositions.

Draft and argue motions including motions for summary judgment and dismissal.

Consult with experts to gather and present evidence supporting the case.

Maintain professional relationships with clients, and continually work to understand clients’ needs and goals better.

Collaborate with legal staff while maintaining high standards of service and discretion.

Remain updated on changes and developments in the law to stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements

J.D. degree from an accredited law school and licensure to practice law in the state.

Minimum of 10 years of civil litigation experience.

Strong awareness and understanding of the rules of civil procedure and evidence.

Proven ability to manage and direct complex cases to successful resolution.

Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and making courtroom appearances.

Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to maintain strong client relationships.

Unimpeachable ethical standards and professional integrity.
