Payroll Specialist

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Newport Beach, California. In this role, you will be responsible for bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing for our 180 employees, including both K1 and W2 employees. You will be using ADP WFN and other accounting software systems, and your tasks will include all accounting functions related to payroll.Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for 180 employees, including both K1 and W2 employees. Use ADP WFN and other accounting software systems to carry out payroll tasks. Perform all accounting functions related to payroll, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time. Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation. Keep abreast of changes in payroll and tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Collaborate with the HR department and other relevant teams to coordinate payroll functions. Use the Kronos Timekeeping System for accurate tracking of employee hours and attendance. Administer 401k and RRSP programs. This role requires skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
