Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an employment opportunity in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, based in Irvine, California. This role of Accounts Payable Specialist involves a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to help maintain our company's financial records. This position will have a particular focus on managing our accounts payable system.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounts payable system and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. File property tax returns accurately and promptly. Process payment for property tax invoices. Renew business licenses as and when required. Prepare journal entries for various accounts. Carry out full cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and financial management. Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Handle check processing for all payable accounts. Manage property tax issues and prepare property tax returns.
