DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Department Manager, the Medical Assistant of the Providence PACE Napa is responsible to assist the physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner in providing patient care while demonstrating our core values. Basic patient care needs will be met through both administrative and clinical duties. The Medical assistant will function within the appropriate scope of practice and is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school or course.
Associate's Degree: Related field
Six months: Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
Experienced in an ambulatory care setting.
IDX, EHealthLine, MEDITECH, EMR and Allscripts, Epic experience.
