About you
In order to set you up for success as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
PhD in machine learning, artificial intelligence or computer science.
A proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences.
Familiarity with multimodal generative modeling, training and inference.
Strong background in machine learning foundations (RL, probabilistic modeling, optimization).
Familiar with distributed systems and training / inference infrastructures.
Experience with deep learning platforms.
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
Core contributor to OSS projects.
Notable and recognized publications in the field.
Experience with JAX and its ecosystem.
Experience in an application domain (e.g. code synthesis, multimodal generation etc).
Strong coding and communication skills.
Experience implementing large-scale systems.
