Stonepine Estate seeks someone who is willing to take on new experiences and help build a team
for the future. We are seeking a housekeeper who wants to support the spirit of hospitality on our 16-room private estate.
The duties and responsibilities include cleaning our guest rooms,
cleaning the common areas, and doing the estate laundry. The Stonepine is a private estate that
has an equestrian ranch and hosts corporate events, weddings, and other special events.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and a wide degree of creativity
and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Clean bedrooms daily when guests stay, and upon their departure
- Clean common rooms daily to ensure they remain clean
- Assist in preparation of breakfast, including delivery to other houses on property
- Wash and iron linens as needed
- Replenishing toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and other toiletries
- Emptying and cleaning trash cans and replacing liners
- Washing dishes, utensils, kitchen gadgets, and appliances
- Tidying and organizing personal items and belongings, drawers, closets, and storage
spaces in a neat and orderly fashion
- Reporting maintenance issues, including changing light bulbs
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms and other common areas
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Qualified individuals must be able to
operate laundry machines, including presses. This position requires walking including up and
down stairs, standing, and communicating clearly with peers. Must be able to occasionally lift,
push, carry, and/or move up to 25lbs- 50lbs.
Position works Thursday-Monday from 7:00am to
3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or General Equivalency degree (GED)
preferred; five-year related experience and/or training. Additional languages are a plus.
SALARY: Dependent upon experience
