Performs technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology-related activities with moderate supervision. Provides customer support for technology, leveraging the Information Systems (IS) platform to track and perform necessary trend analysis of issues. Supports applications, network, systems, storage, and escalates issues as needed. May inspect and perform quality assurance reviews on documents in work queues. Provides guidance to end users on appropriate document types, scanning methods, and equipment maintenance.Job Description :JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:Electronic Imaging Services
Acts as a liaison between Information Services, vendors, external technical specialists, and customers.
Documents all identified issues during implementation and support.
Provides on-going support and resolution of user issues.
Coordinates with end users, appropriate enterprise technical staff, and vendors to identify and correct reported problems.
Coordinates follow-through on user requests using established reporting structure.
Monitors the progress of problem resolution and keeps customers informed as to their status.
Responsible to train/precept students, new techs and Radiologists in the use of applications.
EDUCATION:
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients and families both verbally and in writing.
Advanced computer skills with PACS, RIS and/or other Imaging related software.
Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.
