Position Overview:
The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting operations of the company. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Oversee audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
