Workplace Resources (WPR) delivers workplace experiences to Cisco employees and optimizes company working capital, at scale, and with a focus on productivity and business outcomes.We are seeking a highly motivated Global Shipping Compliance Specialist to join the Governance & Vendor Management team. You will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization collaborating with employees, trade teams, regional operational teams & the application Development team to drive high quality, compliant and effective global shipping support for Cisco tools around the world.What You’ll Do:Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the SME and support WPR shipping & managing shipping queries & compliance.
Work with the application development team on the JIRA tool for enhancements, bug fixes for WPR shipping tools
Handle day to day support requests on the Case Management tool and resolve requests.
Support the operations team with reports and trend analysis.
Interact with Cisco’s Trade Ops teams for resolution of holds on shipments.
Maintain SOPs for WPR shipping tools.
Facilitate and handle partner concerns from Cisco business functions and end users.
Proactively engage business units to address service needs.
Communicate global shipping compliance policies and standards to our employees.
Manage effective communications with business units, Cisco partner groups and WPR regional teams.
Implement ongoing improvements to increase the value of services to Cisco business units and compliance in line with corporate requirements.
Who You’ll Work With:
You will report to the Leader, Operations, Governance & Vendor Management and work closely with employees, corporate compliance functions, WPR’s regional operational teams and Application Development team.
In this key support role, you will partner with peer groups to integrate services and compliance needs into processes and technology solutions.
Who You Are:
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and have 8+ years’ experience in managing trade compliance, logistics operational support and experience in employee support roles or 10 + years’ experience in business operations managing trade compliance, logistics operational support and experience in employee support roles.
A critical thinker, able to solve complex problems whilst managing risk.
Ability to manage multiple challenges, projects, and tasks concurrently, through to resolution.
Good understanding of Business Intelligence tools or similar data analytics and presentation tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable presenting findings to executive level audience and translating data into understandable documents.
Outstanding analytical thinking and proficiency.
