Our shop in Monterey Park is seeking to add a Shop Fabricator.
We function here similar to a fabrication job shop and also a production shop, mixed environment. In many cases the product coming through the shop for fabrication will be assigned to just one person to process all the parts i.e. make all the parts using the machinery in the shop and then also assemble the parts into a final product and weld it as well. Each person is given drawings for each part along with a job card, which contains the processing steps necessary to produce each part.
Where we are similar to a production shop in that those jobs/products that are repeating type products we have already determined the necessary time for each process of each part including the final product.

- Welder for MIG steel and aluminum
- Spot Welder

- NC, Semi Automatic Mill
- Drill Press
- Grinder
- Sander
- Read Blue Prints (drawings)
- Ironworker
Job Requirements:
- Read fabrication drawings (blueprints)
- Familiar with commonly used shop tools (see job description for list of tools)
- Acquainted with the standard measuring tools associated with this industry
