Seeking an experienced fabricator for a Los Angeles based manufacturer of steel door and window systems.
Key responsibilities
The fabricator will report to the shop manager and work closely with the welder/fabricator and install teams. They will work with other teammates to review and understand fabrication drawings, cut and prepare parts, weld and assemble door and window systems. The fabricator will also contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement projects.
The workweek is 5 days, Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 2:30.
Required skills:
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Knowledge of metalworking tools and practices
Basic understanding of automatic and/or computer-controlled machines.
Basic fit up and welding skills.
Keeping tools and inventory organized and clean.
Preferred skills:
CAD and/or CAM (we are willing to train a suitable candidate).
