Current Electric Vehicles is a shop based out of Northridge focused on the customization, restoration, and electrification of classic vehicles. Our unique approach combines engineering practices with classic hot rod building techniques, resulting in the creation of award-winning, one-of-a-kind vehicles for our esteemed clientele. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Custom Vehicle Builder who excels in fabrication, welding, and customization and takes immense pride in delivering top-quality work. While prior experience with electric vehicles is not mandatory, applicants should demonstrate a willingness and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
Disassemble, prepare, and meticulously organize vehicle parts for future assembly.
Construct and fabricate vehicle components such as chassis, suspension, motors, interiors, wiring, electronics, etc.
Actively engage with team members, seeking knowledge-sharing opportunities and contributing as a valuable team player.
Removing, repairing, customizing and replacing body panels
Wiring 12v vehicle systems and harnesses
Requirements
Knowledge of classic vehicles
Able to take on complex projects and complete them in a timely manner
Proven experience in building custom classic cars, showcasing exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; certifications are a valuable asset.
Strong fabrication skills, encompassing cutting, fastening, welding, and finishing.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as upholding a tidy shop environment.
Ability to perform physical work on-site, including lifting and maneuvering heavy components.
Willingness to adapt to dynamic situations and offer assistance to team members to achieve collective goals.
