IT Specialist needed for a general contractor construction engineering company in Long Beach.
Job Summary
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide technical support at the Corporate Office and remote locations.
Hardware and software support on desktop computers & laptops, software applications, printers & scanners, uninterruptable power supplies, IP phones, mobile phones & tablets and related technologies.
Installation and testing of computer system and peripherals.
Help manage facility security systems.
Periodically assist in the maintenance and testing of servers and associated back-end network equipment.
Occasional weekend duties.
Maintain documentations.
Perform other duties as assigned during down time such as data entry, filing, etc.
Qualifications
Must be highly dependable.
Possesses excellent end-user service and communications skills.
Possesses an ability to interpret complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
Must have experience troubleshooting Windows Operating systems, PC hardware, virus and malware removal, O365, smartphones and tablets, knowledge of basic business network and technology in general.
Ability to follow direction, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of a high school diploma or a trade degree, with 2 plus years of IT experience.
Possesses IT certification(s).
Clean driving record.
This is a Full-time position reporting to the IT Manager and will have responsibility of first line support and beyond.
