Apparel Inspection / Warehouse Staff (part-time)
We are a small apparel company looking for part-time inspection staff to join our team. The products needing inspection include clothing, shoes, bags, and accessory items. Our core brands are Yuketen, Monitaly, Chamula, and Epperson Mountaineering.
Responsibilities:
Product inspection of a variety of apparel items.
Packing and preparation for shipment.
Receiving and accurately recording deliveries to warehouse.
Data entry into spreadsheets and online system.
May be asked to assist with web order processing or other shipping related tasks.
Skills/qualifications:
Basic computer skills (MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attention to detail.
Good work ethic, and responsible attitude.
Ability to lift and carry cartons of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
Ability (or willingness to learn) to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
Focus and time management to get assigned tasks done in an efficient manner.
Experience in the apparel industry or product inspection is a plus.
Familiarity with Japanese language or culture may be helpful, but is not required.
Schedule:
Standard work hours are 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
Specific part-time schedule may be discussed.
Initially looking for part-time staff, but chance to transition to full-time in the future.
