Property Management, Medical Office
1. Administrative Assistant
To support our property manager with the property management of our medical office in Granada Hills, we are hiring an admin to help with the following tasks:
Come to our office and work 2-4 hours per day
Interact with coworkers, tenants and contractors
Coordinate projects such as safety training and tenant-improvement construction
Research solutions (such as buying products, finding contractors, investigating regulations)
Point out concerns such as unhappy tenants
Monitor surveillance cameras and solar panel production
Do other projects as they arise
2. Primary Job Requirements
A strong interest in property management and real estate
Ability to work 15-25 hours per week and also be available for emergencies
Excellent communication and computer skills
A knowledge of accounting
Excellent physical shape, with the ability to work outside, walk up and down steps, and do physical labor
3. Secondary Job Requirements
Acceptance of being an employee (not contractor, due to insurance/liability concerns)
Work authorization in the U.S.A.
A reliable car or truck and valid driver’s license
Excellent references
Honesty, maturity, reliability, attentiveness to detail, good communication
Excellent practical skills, being "hands on"
Ability to work both independently and with coworkers
4. Compensation
$22-25 per hour, depending on your skill and experience
We pay twice a month, on an hourly basis, not on a "project basis"
We do not pay for holidays or health-care insurance
We do not pay workers "under the table" or "cash"
5. You will become our Employee (and not a contractor)
You will work with us as a part-time employee, not a contractor, unless you have a proper license as well as liability insurance. We hire and pay people according to the law.
U.S. work authorization is required (social security card, driver license, passport, etc.). We will run a background check and possibly drug testing. Application and employment agreement required.
