Resident Manager – Experience a Must!
Ben Leeds Property Management is looking for an experienced Resident Manager to oversee 40+ units in a well maintained building.
Our ideal candidate would be a couple or a team of two who are able to share the responsibilities of managing one of our 40+ unit buildings. We have different locations North Hollywood/Canoga Park / Winnetka /Van Nuys
Ideal candidate has a second source of income and works mostly from home and must be willing to tour available apartments on weekends. Management Teams will definitely be considered. Ideal candidate (s) has extensive Marketing / Leasing and some maintenance. Must know how to navigate the internet, emails, have some accounting experience, have a smartphone, PC, Laptop, copier, scanner, maintenance tools for light repairs.
We are looking for someone who is:
customer service oriented and able to handle all tenant issues in a professional manner.
Sufficient computer proficiency to produce correspondence, reports, flyers, etc.
familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and California Landlord and Tenant Law
Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem solving
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to multitask and detail oriented in a high pace working environment while maintaining a high-quality customer service to the residents, vendors, and staff.
Management duties include but are not limited to advertising and renting apartments, emailing, responding to guest cards, phone calls, texts, tenant interaction (3-Day notices, repair scheduling, enforcing house rules, etc), and supervising apartment turnover crews (painters, flooring installers, cleaners, etc.). Also scheduling and meeting of outside vendors.Maintaining Property & Common areas clean at all times.
As compensation, Resident Manager will receive full rent concession plus income depending on the building location and number of units
