Full-Time Leasing agent Needed for multi-family residential buildings in the Long Beach area. We have an immediate opening for a professional and energetic full time Leasing Agent to join our expanding organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leasing specialist, self-motivated, team player with an upbeat, can-do attitude.
Qualifications:
-Valid CA Drivers License
-Reliable transportation / Insured
- At least 3+ years of experience in residential leasing and a customer service background, preferably with multi-site.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills, must also be computer literate.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
-Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel, preferably AppFolio
Job Duties:
-Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
-Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws.
-Assist in placing, removing/updating banners, lock boxes, balloons, bandit signs, flags, etc.
-Maintain open communication with Property Managers and Maintenance staff/ Supervisor.
-Have prospect complete application and secure deposit in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
-Monitor advertising effectiveness. Gather information about market competition in the area and file
-Provide information about the property and the community to the prospect client, schedule visits to the property.
-Responsible for leasing the property under acceptable and pre-determined conditions.
-Greet visitors and determine if the community can meet the qualifications of the prospective client. -Effectively explain to the client all the leasing policies, house rules, execute lease and addendums with qualified prospects.
-Support overall marketing techniques and offer suggestions that can help in the promotion, advertising, and marketing of properties.
-Maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all the aspects of the property, specifically in areas like leasing and pricing information, availability, expiration of leasing contracts, and the sizes of properties
-Work hours will be sporadic with visits to multiple properties sometimes on a daily basis.
-Ability to walk multiple vacant units daily and inspect units via AppFolio software, take advertisement photos and post online, submit work orders as needed.
- Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
