We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our property management operations and help us take our portfolio to the next level.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations across a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. You’ll play a critical role in tenant relations, lease administration, maintenance coordination, and general property oversight.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties

Respond to tenant inquiries, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure timely follow-up

Process rent payments and assist with collections

Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and notices

Conduct property inspections and help oversee vendors and contractors

Maintain accurate records, reports, and files

Support the Property Manager with budgeting, reporting, and compliance

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in property management or as a property manager assistant

Strong knowledge of leasing procedures, fair housing laws, and property management best practices

Proficient in property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, or similar)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if fieldwork is required)

Preferred:

Bilingual (Tagalog or Spanish is a plus)

Experience with value-add or renovation projects

Familiarity with local rent control ordinances and compliance
