I'm looking for an assistant to help me manage my real estate portfolio. Those tasks might include scheduling, rent collection, drafting listings, showing units to applicants and correspondence with tenants. I am starting a new house flip, so helping me to stay organized during construction is essential. That might include setting meetings with contractors and pickup up materials.
I also need help with personal things like general maintenance at my house, light cleaning, helping me with my sailboat in Marina del Rey, house and pet sitting, etc. It isn't a full time job, it's probably 3 or 4 six hour days a week.
I may be able to trade a room for work in the future, but not immediately.
I also have a huge collection of Art, Comic Books and furniture I acquired at a house I purchased. All that stuff that needs to be liquidated. I have online stores to sell that stuff (Ebay / Craigslist / Offerup) but I need help listing those items for sale including the researching and writing of the listings, photography, shipping.
I work out of my house that is near Culver City but up in the hills south of Coliseum Street.
I am offering $17 to $20 per hour to start. Depending on your experience.
You must be honest and reliable, have some of the experience and skills I mentioned above. Having a vehicle is a plus but I could provide one if necessary. I am easy to work with, organized and fun. The job could be a stepping stone to something better. There could be bonuses in the future. I've been a landlord in Los Angeles for over 20 years.
