Customer Care Specialist, Team Lead

Are you a customer care professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence? We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist, Team Lead to oversee retail order fulfillment, drive team performance, and champion exceptional service to our partners like Target, Ulta, Walmart, and CVS.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you’ll:
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned retail accounts
Oversee the entire order lifecycle—from entry through invoicing
Lead and support a small team of Customer Care Specialists
Coordinate with warehouse teams to meet shipping deadlines
Review orders, correct errors, and maintain a 95%+ Unit Fill Rate (UFR)
Handle EDI transmissions, invoice errors, return authorizations, and credit memos
Act as a point of escalation for team and customer issues
Identify and implement workflow/process improvements
What You Bring:
3+ years of customer service experience supporting retail accounts
2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
Experience working with major retailers (Walmart, Target, Ulta, CVS, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Experience with ERP and EDI systems (Sage ERP a plus)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Team-oriented mindset with high attention to detail and follow-through
High integrity and a professional work ethic
Bilingual in English and Spanish
