We are a small business seeking a detail-oriented and organized Secretary/Bookkeeper to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your administrative skills while providing essential support to our office operations and is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn and be able to apply the skills that they were taught at training. Training is provided. Entry level applications will be accepted, but priority will be given to those with some experience.

Schedule: Somewhat flexible depending on level of experience and part time/full time employment

Work Location: In person

Duties:

- Greet and welcome people in a friendly and professional manner.

- Answer and direct phone calls/texts/emails

- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages

- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

- Maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically

- Provide general administrative support such as copying, scanning, and emailing documents

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations

-Social Media content creation/posting as well as coordinating marketing events/local outreach

-Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team

-Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

-Complete errands and odd jobs

-Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence

-Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

-Perform data entry and maintain databases

-Order office supplies and maintain inventory

-Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met

-Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks

Requirements:

-Must be 18 or older

-Must have reliable personal transportation and be local to the area

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)

-Willingness to learn and grow and a proactive attitude

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

-Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently a MUST
