ABOUT THE JOB
Research and Strategy firm in Silver Lake is looking for a part-time Project Coordinator to coordinate and prioritize research activities, manage schedules, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
The ideal coordinator will create workflows by carving up projects into manageable tasks while also keeping track of necessary documentation relevant for internal teams and client stakeholders. They will work closely with the internal team to understand all the necessary tasks in a project, help design ways to streamline task completion, and execute appropriate tasks in a timely manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand complex projects as a whole and the tasks needed to complete these projects
Creatively contribute to project design
Work closely with internal and external teams to collaborate on projects and distribute tasks to appropriate participants so they can be completed on time
Organize project logistics with a keen awareness of deadlines
Streamline projects by creating timelines, workflows, and templates
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to organize ideas and present information
Provide frequent and detailed progress updates to the internal team and clients
Recruit, engage, and follow-up with research participants via email and phone
Contact, organize, and convene groups of various sizes and complexities
Plan, organize, and book meetings across a team of people
Organize documents within an internal computer file system
Keep track of, and order, supplies/resources

A combination of education and experience to complete the necessary tasks required of the role
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency with Zoom
OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ON THE JOB (these skill-building opportunities are also available to learn on the job)
Ability to compile and structure research data into compelling reports
Qualitative research experience (e.g., focus groups, IDIs, etc.)
Quantitative research experience (e.g., familiarity with survey design, data analysis, etc.)
Knowledge of and/or experience within higher education systems, namely community colleges
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY
This is a temporary, mostly in office, position from 20-30 hours/week. This could turn into a full-time position
Our office is open 9AM – 5PM M-F. We work (and play) in Silver Lake on the east side in a cool, and comfortable office space.
