We have an opening for a Material Handler at our manufacturing facility in Irwindale. This position is for the evening shift, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am plus OVERTIME as required. Pay is $19 to $21 per hour depending on experience. Compensation includes full benefits.

This is a position in supply chain. Material handlers ensure the orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies as needed, and staging finished product final distribution. They contribute to the orderly operation of daily cleaning and maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and relocating materials in real time moves. In addition, they locate materials with our warehouse management system and pull and verify the finished product for shipping. Excel and Teams knowledge is a plus in documenting and recording units and units delivered and shipped. This person receives UPS and Fed Ex deliveries and verifies purchase orders by material, lot numbers, and quantities. They prepare the staging area with raw materials for production by verifying part numbers, lot numbers, and units. Responsible for maintaining material handling equipment by completing inspections and making operator repair requests. They, also, operate stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items. In addition, keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. They will learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Skills and qualifications required are organizational skills, ability to read and analyze information, adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously, proficient in prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines, excellent time management skills, knowledge of inventory control, ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and data entry skills.
