Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced litigation paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of federal and state court procedures related to insurance bad faith and personal injury cases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a heavy case load, where you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with case preparation, document management, trial preparation, and client communication.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations relevant to insurance bad faith and personal injury cases

- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses

- Manage case files, organize documents, and maintain electronic filing systems

- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel to schedule hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders

- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors

- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance bad faith and personal injury cases

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required
