We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Interior Plant Gardener to join our team for the maintenance of indoor plants within office spaces in Culver City. The ideal candidate will possess strong horticultural knowledge, have hands-on plant maintenance experience, and be comfortable working in busy office environments with high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine watering, cleaning, and overall maintenance of indoor plants.

Apply pesticides and fertilizers as needed to ensure plant health and vitality.

Plant, repot, and move plants according to office layout and design specifications.

Follow detailed instructions from the head gardener to maintain the aesthetic and health standards of plants.

Drive a company vehicle to transport plants and equipment between locations.

Monitor plant health, reporting any issues or concerns to the head gardener promptly.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all work areas, ensuring no debris or dirt is left behind.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients using messaging phone apps and other technology.

Physical Abilities:

Ability to lift and move heavy items, including plants, pots, tools, bags of soil, and carts.

Capable of picking up orders and materials from suppliers.

Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Ability to safely handle and operate gardening tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in horticulture or plant maintenance.

Strong knowledge of indoor plant care, including watering needs, pest control, and fertilization.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

Comfortable working in busy office environments.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical ability to lift and move plants and equipment.

Skills:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:5am-1:30pm Mon-Fri

8 hour shift

Experience:

Indoor plants maintenance: 2 years

Nursery work, gardening

Driver's License (Required)
