We are looking for an In House Assistant Manager for a Men's Sober Living House.
This position includes living on the premises.
This is a proven Sober Living and has a long and storied history as Southern California' oldest Men's Sober Living Home.
We have accommodations for up to 12 patient/clients.
A certification for Drug and Alcohol Counseling in the State of California is not required but it strongly encouraged and suggested.
Duties also call for preparing meals for the patient/clients, but is not a requirement.
Responsibilities and Daily activities include and are not limited to:
Proven work experience as a Sober Living Assistant Manager and/or House Manager or similar role.
Being a good communicator, understanding the patient/client’s needs and overseeing the carrying out of the daily chores and responsibilities.
Bookkeeping on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. All systems are currently implemented and operational.
Cooking meals for the Patients/Clients 1 time daily. Cleaning the kitchen after cooking.
Extensive interaction with the patients/clients.
Conducting interviews with potential patient/clients.
Conducting intake(s) with accepted patient/clients.
Competent in MS Word and Excel.
Being a good communicator to and with the Board of Directors.
Being knowledgeable on a wide range of areas related to the role, ie, 12 Step Programs, First Aid, Safety Regulations, Group Living, Group meetings, Hall meetings, office organization, filing, record upkeep and maintenance, etc.
Being responsible, efficient, discreet, and well organized
Relevant training and/or certifications as a House Manager
Supervise daily housekeeping and maintenance of the house and staff to ensure that the facility is well-kept at all times
Again, meals and room are a part of this position
Assist in maintaining the property, the cleanliness and the integrity of the House!
