The Village Bakery and Cafe in Atwater Village is looking for a passionate, RELIABLE, experienced, happy baker to join our team. This will start as a part-time position but can grow into a full time position once training is completed. Shifts are from 6am until noon Friday through Monday.
You will be responsible for opening the bakery every morning (morning pastry baking and setting up the pastry case) and you will be helping with wholesale baking (cookies) and everyday production duties (cake batters, cookie doughs, brownies, muffin batters, frostings, etc).

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Experience in a professional bakery
- Strong attention to detail & ability to follow recipes
- Ability to communicate with team and leads.
- Accountability
- Time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Punctuality & dependability (we need you to show up for the shifts that you’re scheduled for AND to be on time)
- A positive, upbeat demeanor
