Join our Team at ITH Los Angeles Beach Hostel as a Live OnSite Hostel Supervisor. Our mission is Spreading Peace Through Knowledge of Culture as Ultimate Hosts. Our passion is being the #1 rated host in Los Angeles for world travelers and providing them with amazing stays at our hostels. Responsibilities include:
- Welcome travelers with wonderful experiences and stays
- Operate day-to-day systems to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Working with the Management Team to ensure guest satisfaction ratings are always above 90%
- Help lead the Staff to create a fun and efficient workplace
- Host activities like BBQ nights, game nights, beach days, and local experiences
- Train and retrain Receptionists and Housekeepers
- Ensure the business systems are operating as efficiently as possible to achieve a profit each month
The position requires you to live on-site. The Hostel is located in the Plaza in front of Hermosa Beach. The role is a full-time position with 2 days off. The position is required to work evenings and weekends.
Staying at a hostel previously or working at a hostel is required for the Position.
Pay:
- Onsite housing in Staff Dorm
- Bi-Weekly Pay
- Access to daily breakfast at the Hostel
- Staff dinners
- Free stays at ITH Hostel locations
The position is for a 6-9 month contract to start. After the contract ends, there may be an opportunity for a promotion based on your performance and guest ratings. 4 Weeks of unpaid vacation time is included which can be broken up into 1 week increments.
