Benny's is a fast-casual, fast-paced Mexican restaurant, looking to add a motivated Shift Manager who wants to grow with us. This is a basic and hands on supervisor position. We are hiring for all of our locations: Westchester, Santa Monica and Culver City/Palms
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON WHO IS:
- Approachable, Positive and works well with others
- Full availability: Weekdays and Weekends
- STRONG customer service skills
- Experience in the kitchen is a HUGE PLUS but not required
You report to the Owners who are GMs of the operation, who will conduct most of the admin responsibilities such as:
- HR
- Scheduling
- Hiring
- Payroll
RESPONSIBLE FOR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Get the food out on time and correctly
- Keep the restaurant clean at all times and ready for health inspections
- Clock-In Management and Breaks (make sure everyone clocks-in and takes breaks)
- Placing Orders
- Handling Employee and Customer Issues as needed, document and report to HR
No scheduling No paperwork
COMPENSATION (with OT and tips you can earn up to $27-$28 per hour)
- $20-$22 per hour (depending on your experience and ability) cooking experience is a PLUS!
- Overtime pay
- Tip Pool: $2-$3 per hour average
- 30 hours of paid vacation per year
