Job Title: Seasonal Food Truck Manager/Driver

Location: Los Angeles County, including but not limited to Pomona CA, additional locations as booked

Employment Type: Seasonal, including Mid/Late April – First Week of June

Job Summary:

Harold & Belle’s To Geaux is seeking an experienced and reliable Seasonal Food Truck Manager/Driver to oversee operations at the Los Angeles County Fair and other food truck events. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized leader with excellent customer service and math skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a fast-paced, high-volume food truck operation, leading a team of up to 10 employees, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Truck Operations: Manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.

Driving & Setup: Safely tow and transport a 25-foot food trailer using a company vehicle, ensuring proper setup and breakdown at designated locations.

Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of up to 10 employees across two locations at the fairgrounds.

Customer Service: Provide an outstanding guest experience by maintaining a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Point of Sale (POS) Management: Operate and troubleshoot the POS system, handle transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling.

Scheduling & Coordination: Ensure staff is scheduled and assigned to the appropriate locations throughout the event.

Compliance & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety standards are met.

Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and manage inventory to avoid shortages.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Previous food truck or food service management experience required.

Driving Requirements: Must have experience towing large trailers (25 feet), a clean driving record, and the ability to safely maneuver and park a food trailer.

Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills. Must be proficient with POS systems and have solid math skills for cash handling and sales tracking.

Availability: Must be available days, nights, and weekends including all required setup and breakdown days at the Los Angeles County Fair. Additional work opportunities may be available when the food truck is booked for events.

Work Environment: Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities.
