The Tiny Pony Tavern is on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We’re a lively, creative team and we’re looking for someone with the leadership skills, experience, and passion to keep us running smoothly and deliciously.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience curating seasonal and creative menus
Strong background managing food and labor costs efficiently
HR and team leadership skills – hiring, training, scheduling, and people management
Comfortable in an extremely high-volume restaurant setting
Pastry experience is a big plus
Skilled in kitchen logistics and long-term planning
Excellent communication across all departments
Some Spanish preferred to support our diverse team
Solid knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Deep commitment to cleanliness and Department of Health compliance
Collaborative spirit – we love to bounce ideas, experiment, and evolve
Experience creating cleaning lists, managing side work, and keeping standards high
Strong relationships with purveyors and sourcing know-how
