Westside cake shop with over 18 years of business is HIRING for multiple positions!
We are seeking dessert loving, hard working, multitasking, motivated and customer friendly individuals to join our team!
FOH CUSTOMER SALES:
This is a part time position with room to grow into a full time role.
Must be available 11am to 4:30pm, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Duties include, but are not limited to: greeting customers, making assorted coffee/espresso drinks, helping customers with bakery items on hand as well as guiding them through the special ordering process, answering the phone, topping cupcakes, baking cookies, stocking the front pastry case, packing up pastries and cakes to go, operating a POS system, stocking, dishes, and light cleaning.
EARLY AM BAKING/PRODUCTION:
This is a full time position. Ideal candidate will have 2 years of professional kitchen experience.
Must be available Mondays through Fridays from 5am to 2pm.
Duties include, but are not limited to: preparing and making assorted batters and fillings, baking of cakes and cupcakes, making sweet dough, muffin mix, scones, assorted fillings and buttercreams, stocking large quantities of ingredients and keeping an eye on inventory, dishes, and light cleaning.
CAKE DECORATOR:
This is a full time position. Ideal candidate will have 2 years of cake decorating experience.
Must be available 8am to 4:30pm Mondays as well as Wednesdays through Saturdays; OFF on Sundays and Tuesdays.
Duties include but are not limited to: cutting and filling assorted cakes, crumb coating, finishing the cakes with assorted buttercreams, ganache, or fondant, sculpting of cakes, 3D figurine making, some filling and buttercream making, some customer interactions/answering the phone, dishes, and light cleaning.
