An established cake shop in West LA, is looking to fill two positions!
AM BAKER:
This is a full time position, Mondays through Fridays, 4am-12:30pm.
Duties will include, but not limited to: weighing and prepping all cake batters, baking all cakes and cupcakes, prepping and baking select morning pastries, making assorted fillings and buttercreams, washing dishes, cleaning, and stocking.
Must also be able to lift 50lb bags of sugar and flour and be on your feet all day.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years kitchen experience or schooling. Looking for a long term commitment.
CAKE DECORATOR:
This is a full time position, Wednesdays through Saturdays, and Mondays, 8am-4:30pm.
Duties will include but not limited to: cutting and filling cakes, crumb coating cakes, finish icing on cakes, buttercream piping, fondant work, sculpting skills, stacking tiered cakes, help with making buttercreams as needed, washing dishes, cleaning, and keeping organized.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of cake decorating experience or schooling. Looking for a long term commitment.
