Description A growing, fast-paced real estate company in Downtown Los Angeles is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Property Accountant to join their team! The successful candidate will be adept with Yardi Voyager, capable of learning quickly, proactive, and possess a strong sense of responsibility. This position is fully onsite and is a contract to hire opportunity. Responsibilities:
Execute general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, and bank statements.
Generate month-end and year-end reports.
Maintain detailed records of all company assets.
Prepare capital budgets and reviews for property improvements.
Conduct timely and detailed regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
Forecast costs and revenues.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting.
Proficient in Yardi Voyager and other industry-standard financial software.
Strong understanding of all aspects of accounting and financial management.
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Superior customer service towards internal and external customers.
