Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Corporate Accountant in Los Angeles, California. This role is within the real estate industry and involves managing the financial operations of real estate properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, analyzing, and recording accounting transactions, maintaining records for property tax, and coordinating with property managers for rent and lease updates.Responsibilities: Oversee property expenditures and manage financial transactions Audit financial reports and prepare monthly and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws Implement effective financial risk management measures Suggest improvements for property financial operations Communicate directly with clients and property owners Apply best accounting management practices Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient workflow Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Auditing tasks Manage Budget Processes and Cash Activity. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting role or similar Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of CapEx calculations and procedures Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Ability to implement and manage ERP Solutions Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Auditing skills, with an ability to identify errors and discrepancies Familiarity with Budget Processes Capable of managing and reporting on Cash Activity Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
