Job Details Division: Nucor Data Systems Location: Remote | On-Site Project LocationsBasic Job Functions:Mission Critical Construction Services, the installation division of Nucor Data Systems, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee project management duties from preliminary design through fabrication, final installation, and project closeout. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operational aspects of data center projects, creating and executing project work plans, and revising them as needed to meet changing requirements. Additional duties involve performing estimates, reviewing proposals, and ensuring project standards are met. Applicants should possess mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations, effectively communicate with general contractors and end users, and apply our methodology to enforce project standards. Ability to read and understand construction and fabrication drawings.
Proven project management experience.
Budgeting experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. s.
In-depth understanding of the construction industry.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, design, construction management or comparable experience
Experience using Design Software such as AutoCAD, preferred.
PMP Certification; or relatable project management certifications
