Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Records Clerk to join our team in downtown Los Angeles. The primary role of this position will be to ensure all patient records are accurately maintained and updated, and that they are entered systematically in our EZ Works system.Responsibilities:
Accurately maintaining patient medical records and ensuring all documents related to a patient's care, treatment, and diagnosis are filed appropriately.
Regularly updating and verifying patient information in the electronic health record system (EZ Works).
Ensuring the absolute privacy and confidentiality of sensitive patient information by adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Facilitating the transfer of medical records between departments, physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
Scanning, photocopying, and faxing documents, as well as performing data entry tasks.
