Medical Biller II

Description A Hospital in Los Angeles with an impeccable reputation is in the immediate need to fill an open position for its Medical Revenue Cycle team. The Medical Revenue Cycle team is looking for a Medical Biller II. The Medical Biller II will be tasked to complete full cycle medical billing and insurance follow up. The right candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of experience working with hospital UB04 claims. Responsibilities: Manage insurance billing and collection activities. Review accounts for unpaid claims and take necessary actions to collect. Resolve billing discrepancies and clarify insurance denial reasons. Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records in line with the Health Information Privacy Act (HIPAA). Adhere to all company policies and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate customer billing inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Solid knowledge of UB04 claims.
