Litigation Attorney

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a remote Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, California. This role primarily involves litigation with some transactional tasks (60/40 split). The successful candidate will be responsible for handling civil litigation cases, probate matters, and various real property and business transactions. Responsibilities: Handling a range of civil litigation cases, ensuring all are processed accurately and efficiently. Administering probate cases, including petitioning, notifying creditors, and handling claims. Responding to and propounding discovery in accordance with legal guidelines. Drafting motions, including summary judgments, as part of the litigation process. Reviewing lease agreements as part of the transactional aspect of the role. Making comments and reviewing wills and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case and document management records. Utilizing case management software for efficient handling and tracking of cases. Managing claims and complaints, ensuring they are handled effectively and within a timely manner.
