Description We are looking for a meticulous Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in LOS ANGELES, California. This position will focus on enhancing our benefits programs and ensuring compliance with essential HR practices. Responsibilities include managing employment inquiries, overseeing employee benefits, and maintaining company policies and records. This role offers a short-term contract opportunity.Responsibilities:

Address employment inquiries, keeping informed on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.

Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Ensure accurate benefit enrollments and lead annual open enrollment processes.

Coordinate with insurance providers for smooth benefit delivery.

Maintain precise employee benefits records for easy access and compliance.

Implement corrective measures for non-compliant areas and uphold company policies.

Investigate and resolve complaints related to compliance, discrimination, and harassment.

Collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives.

Utilize HRIS software (Workday, ADP, Bamboo HR, Kantola) to streamline HR tasks with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, with at least 2 years in a similar role.

Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now. Experience with Ceridian, Dayforce, and HRMS is a must. Familiarity with About Time software. Comprehensive knowledge of benefit functions, claim administration, and compensation administration. Strong understanding of compliance procedures related to compensation and benefits. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
