As the Bookkeeper, you will oversee the month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Govern monthly accounting close
Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Keep Accounts Payable up to date
Manage Accounts Receivable
Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Additional special projects if necessary
Support monthly accounting close
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Organize general ledger Requirements - Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Prior experience with Depreciation Calculations
Quickbooks Online experience preferred
Experience with depreciation
Good understanding of journal entries
General familiarity with bill.com
Solid understanding of Prepaid Expense
Earlier work involving bank reconciliations
Solid understanding of Depreciation Schedule
Foundational knowledge in navigating basic office equipment and protocols
Wide ranging experience with Bank Account Reconciliation
Previous experience working with Posting Journal Entries
Hands-on experience with depreciation
Experience with Blackbaud
Quality experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Comprehension of Month-end Journal Entries
Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel
Bookkeeping experience desired
Skills in Monthly Journal Entries
Proven knowledge of Excel Formulas
Expertise in Prepaids
Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Deep understanding of month end closings
Deep understanding of QuickBooks
Experience with Microsoft Office
Bookkeeping Functions experience
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
5+ years of related experience- Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
