Job Description A major player within the entertainment space seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Android. This role will be remote but will be in EST hours. The Sr. Engineer will create, design, develop, test and implement software fixes, enhancements, components and/or new software systems and applications of various complexities. The Sr. Engineer will provide technical guidance and act as a point of escalation and be a technical expert while designing and developing highly scalable software systems and applications. The Sr. Software Engineer will own design and development while driving the development of components through their own and subordinate Engineers work. Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of progressively related experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, client-facing web applications, and major Internet-oriented applications and systems.
- Understanding of Dagger DI
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or related work experience.
- Understanding of Dagger and Gradle.
- Understands MVVM app UI architecture.
- Understands modern OO practices/design patterns.
- Thorough understanding of Android UI
