Location: Hancock Park, California

Pay: $30/hour for approximately 20 hours per week

Additional: Occasional live-in care for 5-7 days at a time with negotiated pay for those periods.

We are seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team as a caregiver and teacher for a remarkable 17-year-old non-speaking autistic teenager who communicates through assisted methods. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity for personal growth and meaningful connection.

Key Qualifications:

Must be a man who is strong and capable, as the teenager is a big young man.

Either trained in assisted communication methods or willing and eager to learn.

Spiritually conscious and open-minded.

Recognizes that this teenager is the teacher, and they are the student.

A person willing to expand their own capacity and confront their own shadow.

Someone with a big heart and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide constant supervision as the teenager cannot be left unsupervised.

Assist with daily activities, including toileting, bathing, food preparation, and feeding.

Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to his needs.

Have reliable transportation for occasional drives and outings.

Occasionally provide live-in care for periods of 5-7 days at a time.
