We are seeking a dedicated ESL Instructor with a minimum of two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners. Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited U.S. institution. A TESOL certificate is preferred and considered a plus.
This part or full time position requires availability Monday through Thursday, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and/or 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, totaling either 18 or 36 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling needs.
Job Functions:
Deliver course material in an engaging and effective manner
Develop weekly lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and relevant supplementary resources
Collaborate with administrative staff on annual curriculum review and selection
Monitor and record student attendance and academic performance
Provide monthly written progress reports for each student
Participate in professional development opportunities, including ESL conferences and continued education
Attend all scheduled in-service meetings
Perform additional duties as assigned by the School Manager or School Director
Professional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus
TESOL certification is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, intelligence, and integrity are essential
Professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and attitude is required
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage pressure, and meet deadlines effectively
Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to build rapport with international students
