A trusted general contractor with over 25 years of experience in Southern California, is looking for a Project Engineer to join there team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow in construction management and be part of exciting public and private projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Project Manager to help keep projects on track.
Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project paperwork.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Keep project logs and reports up to date.
Help with scheduling, cost tracking, and pay applications.
Attend site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs.
Assist with problem-solving when issues come up in the field.
Make sure work meets plans, specs, and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field (preferred but not required
if you have solid experience).
1–3 years of experience in construction or project support.
Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and contracts.
Comfortable using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word (Bluebeam is a plus).
Strong communication and organization skills.
Team player who can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to visit job sites.
