Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to oversee our financial operations. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting duties, including collections, bill management, payroll, bank account management, vendor accounts, and factor assignment. Prior experience in the apparel and garment industry, especially with AIMS360, is a significant advantage. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
Oversee bill payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Handle payroll processing efficiently.
Manage bank accounts and reconcile financial statements.
Maintain vendor accounts and cultivate strong relationships.
Experience with factor assignment in the apparel industry is a plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping experience.
Previous experience in accounting, specifically within the apparel and garment industry.
Proficiency in AIMS360 and QuickBooks is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
