Position Summary:
Frimex Hospitality Group (Frida Mexican Cuisine, Cantina Frida, and Frida Tacos) is seeking for a highly skilled Finance and Administration Manager to join and lead our Accounting and Administration team in our fast-paced entrepreneurial corporate office. Reporting directly to the Ownership Board, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, finance and administration operations. This role requires leadership, excellent communication, strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment, commitment to supporting the company’s growth and full support to the ownership group to achieve all business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees Accounting and Administration department
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization and analyzing financial planning
Developing and implementing effective financial strategies
Creating and proposing strategies to reduce costs and increase revenue
Managing financial forecasting and budgeting and compares sales and profit projections
Ensuring the financial reporting is accurate, timely and compliant with regulations
Coordinating documentation for taxes
Preparing monthly and annual financial plans for ownership
Maintaining full transparency regarding the organization's financial performance
Collaborates with other department heads to make recommendations
Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required
CPA designation preferred
7+ years of professional experience in financial management or similar role
Excellent supervisory, analytical and organizational skills
Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
QuickBooks, Excel and GAAP compliance
Positive attitude, results-oriented, collaborative and professional demeanor
Bilingual: Spanish, required
Corporate Office: Currently located in Beverly Hills but will be moving to West Los Angeles around Spring 2025
