SUMMARY FOR CONSULTING TEAM
Our clients consulting practice provides their clients with valuable insight regarding managing risk and improving business performance. They assist their clients with improving their internal accounting policies and procedures and overall financial reporting processes. Their goal is to help their clients better understand their business by keeping them regularly informed about their financial progress by discussing accounting, financial, and regulatory developments that may impact their business
We are looking for 3 separate positions.
Experienced Consulting Staff: 2 years experience in public accounting
Consulting Senior: 4 years experience in public accounting
Consulting Manager: 6 years experience, CPA required
SUMMARY FOR EXPERIENCED CONSULTING STAFF
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Experienced Consulting Staff, you will:
Provide financial statement analysis including but not limited to developing management reports and KPIs
Assist with developing GAAP financial statements including the following
◦ Preparation of bank reconciliations
◦ Analysis of accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts
◦ Analysis and capitalization and amortization of prepaid expenses
◦ Inventory costing and valuation analysis
◦ Analysis and accrual of expenses
◦ Reconciliation of debt and accrued interest
◦ Analysis of profit and loss statement including
▪ Consideration of revenue and expense recognition principles
▪ Reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts based on the client’s business
Evaluate, recognize, and provide recommendations for improvements to systems and processes within an accounting function to ensure proper internal controls
Assistance with preparation of financial projections and
forecasts including analysis of budget to actual results on an on-going basis
Assistance with evaluation and analysis of debt financing and other capital-raising alternatives
Assistance with buy and sell side diligence
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or bookkeeping
Experience in public accounting and corporate roles is a plus
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, intermediate to advanced Excel)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Quickbooks Desktop, Xero, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, and other accounting ERP systems are a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
Outstanding organization and project management skills
Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays
Ability to work overtime, as needed
Salary: $85,000-$100,000
SUMMARY FOR CONSULTING SENIOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Consulting Senior, you will:
Manage and train internal staff as well as accounting personnel at client offices
Provide financial statement analysis including but not limited to developing management reports and KPIs
Prepare and review GAAP financial statements including the following:
◦ Preparation of bank reconciliations
◦ Analysis of accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts
◦ Analysis and capitalization and amortization of prepaid expenses
◦ Inventory costing and valuation analysis
◦ Analysis and accrual of expenses
