Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Career Technical Specialist Engineer to join the team in Long Beach, CA .Position Responsibilities:

Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards

Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs

Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability

Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs

Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use

Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity

Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs

Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Long Beach, CA.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :

Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience interfacing and communicating with business leadership, including C-Level executives

5+ years’ experience working in a team atmosphere

5+ years of experience with problem-solving

5+ years of experience in a role that required attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

2+ years of experience working with FAA and with the Boeing Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) processes

2+ years of experience with Process management

3+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite

Typical Education & Experience :Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
