This role is focused on driving both short-term and long-term growth by overseeing key strategic initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration.In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. By leveraging your expertise in marketing and your deep understanding of the cardiovascular industry, you will influence key business decisions and drive impactful initiatives that enhance our global market presence.Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business and portfolio strategies for the BWI business on a global scale.
Create and implement a 5-year strategic plan, including R&D innovation and strategic acquisitions.
Drive the delivery of global product portfolio marketing plans, including value propositions, positioning, and segmentation.
Collaborate with Global Education, R&D, Program Management, Regional Marketing (US and OUS), Clinical, and New Business Development for strategic plan formulation and execution.
Shape product development scenarios and drive optimal lifecycle management.
Manage and expand the product portfolio to meet market demands and business objectives.
Conduct market research and analyze competitors to develop competitive strategies for new and existing products.
Work with the business intelligence group to gather market intelligence and competitive information related to the product portfolio.
Launch new products and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives to drive market growth.
Inspire a "market-focused" culture through the creation of global and regional launch and marketing plans.
Ensure clear value propositions in both global and regional marketing plans for all products.
Provide leadership and vision for brands in development, leveraging opportunities with regional partners, customers, Johnson & Johnson brands, and alliances.
Oversee clinical claims development and evidence generation strategy for products.
Partner with the global commercial team to deliver on business plans and execute global strategies across regions.
Formulate pipeline recommendations and priorities, supporting all business development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Foster a culture of Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the team.
Motivate, inspire, and influence others to achieve results while fostering innovation and inclusion.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required, Advanced degree (e.g., M.B.A.) is highly preferred.
15 years of relevant business experience in Marketing, General Management, Sales, or a related field.
Experience working independently with senior executives.
Proven experience in leading strategic marketing, preferably with international exposure.
Strong knowledge of the cardiovascular industry and clinical electrophysiology, with the ability to grasp complex technologies and clinical applications.
Ability to operate effectively in highly complex, hybrid, and diversified markets.
Capable of stimulating innovation in marketing by identifying and communicating significant global unmet needs.
Effective management within a matrix organization and ability to act as an organizational change agent.
Strong financial acumen and ability to collaborate with various functions including global education, R&D, commercial field leadership, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, and operations/planning/manufacturing.
Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders to attain business results.
Effective verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
Ability to work in a matrix environment requiring high collaboration.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
